TEA/BCQ Transfer | ![]() |
The scheme allows you to transfer your Touring Explorers Award (TEA) claims into BCO claims. The TEA was similar in concept to the BCQ, but is no longer in operation. However, you may claim credit for your TEA awards, and transfer them to your BCQ score by following the procedure described here.
Only fully completed TEA 'county question sheets' will be accepted for transfer, and these should be sent, together with photocopies of any County Certificates or Area Certificates you wish to have turned into BCQ 'credits' to the following address:
Peter Jackson,
18 Belgrave Road,
Leyton,
London
E10 6LD.
Send Peter a stamped addressed envelope and he'll send you a note confirming the 'credits' that have been transferred, which you can record on the Wall Chart if you choose to buy one. You can also obtain any further BCQ County Cards you require and a BCQ Wall Chart directly from him at the same time by sending in an Order Form.
Any queries about the BCQ/TEA transfer can be made to Peter at the above address or by ringing him on 020 8556 5091.
The deadline for transfers was 1 April 2001, but late requests will be looked at sympathetically.
